Historian Debbie Dunsford will share stories about Milford when it was Auckland’s most popular beach resort. Her talk will be illustrated with historic photos and oral history audio clips. It will cover the steam train era, the Pirate Shippe, the building of the saltwater swimming pool and the WW2 American invasion. This is a free community event. Supper will be served after the talk.
