Historic Milford: Images and Memories An Auckland Heritage Festival Event Sunday, 27 September 2015, noon to 5pm at the Milford Reserve, 24 Craig Road, Milford An afternoon of music, memories and fun Please join us. Presented by Milford Residents Assn and generously funded by the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board 'Historic Milford' Photo Exhibition Tent - noon to 5pm Over 150 photos including new displays from family collections Plus see the original decorative shields from inside Ye Olde Pirate Shippe Music in the marquee - noon to 3.30pm (chairs provided) 12pm North Shore Brass Band Academy 1pm North Shore Accordionistas 2pm Formula Four Barbershop Quartet 3pm Auckland Symphony Orchestra String Quartet Jowett Classic Cars - Members of the Jowett Car Club will display their cars. Oral history booth - tell us your Milford stories 1.30 to 3.30pm. Show us your photographs Free organised old-fashioned games for 5-10 year olds - 1pm to 2pm (weather-dependent) Local youth volunteering for the Takapuna North Community Trust will run fun relays, races and activities including hopscotch and face-painting. Toys for Pre-Schoolers The Takapuna North Community Trust will also provide toys for pre-school play (weather-dependent). Please note: parent/guardian supervision required.
